Our Story

Wagner Torres, originally from Peru, came to Australia with dreams of a brighter future. Like many immigrants, he took on various jobs, but over time, he discovered his true passion for painting. His talent for creating beautiful, lasting finishes quickly became clear, and he began taking on bigger projects. On June 20, 2006, Wagner took a bold step and founded Painters Inca. The road was not always easy, but the company overcame every challenge through hard work, dedication, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. As the business grew, so did the team—what was once a small group of workers has now become a family, united by a shared commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

The name Painters Inca reflects Wagner’s Peruvian heritage. The Inca civilization was one of the most powerful and enduring cultures in South America, particularly in Peru. The name symbolizes strength, resilience, and a warrior-like spirit that guides the business in every project. The logo colors are inspired by the Tahuantinsuyo flag, the ancient flag of the Inca Empire, representing the territories that spanned Peru and beyond. These colors honor the Incan inheritance and the pride Wagner carries from his roots.

Today, Painters Inca is a trusted name in Cairns and Far North Queensland, and we remain true to the values that defined our journey—hard work, integrity, and a relentless commitment to quality. We take pride in our past, our heritage, and the family we’ve built along the way.
